On the X2D the 1TB SSD is a plug-in device. There's a photo of the SSD on page 15 of the X2D internal photos taken by the UL lab which provided testing and verification for FCC Wi-Fi approval.

Thank you for sharing that!  Really interesting/comforting to know that the SSD is potentially replaceable if it fails. I often wondered what could be done if that happened.

At the same output dimension, the resolution does not matter. It matters at the pixel level.

It's probably a similar issue as handholding a Leica M11 (same pixel pitch).
