New member here long term hasselblad owner 3 bodies 6 lenses (V)
Recently bought a 907 and back and 45xcd lens
But how to mount it on a tripod?
My manfrotto quick releases all prevent the back being removed without removing the  plate
I do use the hasselblad quick release mount for all the v bodies
Is there a mount to use that with the 907?

I have made a mount but just wondered if there is an official version?

I use a Mini Novoflex Arca plate but I turn it 90degrees compared to your picture

I tried several Arca style plates and because the surface area is so narrow it is difficult to have the plate not to rotate and come lose. The best one I found is the one supplied with a Sunway Foto ball head. But I can see that a second pin will avoid any rotation and therefore a secure connection. I don't like when the mounting plate is extending too much under the lens but I have not found a plate which allows asymmetric mounting including a pin.

If you have the grip you can easily attach the normal Hasselblad plate.

To secure the Arca Swiss plate I've put a piece of fine cardboard between the body an the Arca plate, after what it no more unscrewed itself like before.

From Arca Swiss Original plate for 907x - I can only recommend it! (With anti-twist protection!)

I guess the Novoflex slim 25mm fits best on the 907x, thats what a use after several trials

I also use it on small digital point and shoot cameras

Novoflex Slim 25mm is also mine - for me the best solution

I've been using the Peak Design Plate because it works with their Capture holder and it is Arca-Swiss compatible.  It only attaches with one bolt, but it has rubber on the side that comes in contact with the 907x, so it has not twisted on me yet.  I've had it on for a few months and been hiking with it a fair bit.  This said, if you aren't going to use the Peak Design Capture Clip, then the Arca-Swiss solution above looks like the best idea in my opinion.

RRS have just come out with a small customisable L bracket which fits the 907X and the X1d 50cii perfectly.  https://reallyrightstuff.com/mc-ls/

The Arca-Swiss plate with the pin is the only plate I have found that doesn't twist.  The heavier lenses seem to cause the twist sooner.

Yes, the Arca plate was the only solution and good enough but with some hassle over portrait oriented work for which I prefer an 'L' bracket. None worked.  The RRS 'L' bracket has anti twist tabs position of them is fully customisable for the narrow body of the X1D and the 907. Have replaced the Arca plate with it.

+1 for the RRS MC-LS Universal L-Set

I got this plate but being so narrow it was not very secure to the tripod head. I was carrying the 907X with the folded legs during a shoot in a forest and the camera fell off and destroyed the hood of my 28P, at least the lens itself and camera were fine.

I've been using the Peak Design plate for casual needs and the Desmond DAL-1 L-bracket when I am doing something more serious. I haven't had any problems with rotation or slippage with either.
