2 cameras

We regularly use two H3D camera's on the same computer for shooting different angles of a subject.
After connecting or disconnecting, the camera is not automatically found.
Are there any special settings to do this ?
Or do I need to install two different versions of Phocus ?

You certainly don't need two versions of Phocus! I would suspect a cable/port issue and suggest trouble shooting based on that, try different ports/cables to try and isolate the problem. There is some very good info here in a thread on firewire ports you might want to read. (edit) here's one:
