Did Hasselblad sack the CEO because he miss-sold the H3D50 as having Live video?
It would be nice the think he paid for this mistake (to use diplomatic language) with his job.
Let's hope his successor is stronger on delivering promises to customers.
I have had my 50 since May.  I needed live video for the HTS.  Lost a major project because it was not delivered.
Now I'm promised Live Video for the H3D50 will come with Phocus 2.
And I have a message from Hasselblad promising both before the end of October (that is 2009).
Now, a month later, we are told "just wait two more weeks".

Nobody has been sacked.

It turned out the LV was much harder to implement on the 50 that we thought.  The 50MP CCD runs on a different architecture than anything else we have used.  Anyway, no excuses, it did take too long.

Phocus 2.0 is under final candidate testing and will be delivered with 50MP LV firmware.
