Cannot focus using Focus mobile and flash

When I am using Focus Mobile with flash I cannot focus because the image on the iPhone is too dark.

Is there a way to make image visible so I can focus?

You'll need to turn off live view simulation so that way it will bring the exposure to auto for metering but your manual settings will still be in place. I found this out recently when using mine with flash. also if your ambient lighting isn't bright enough in the room you will need to adjust that.
