Flash recommendation for X1DII?

I am not a big flash user, but for occasional use for shooting at parties, etc., does anyone have any specific recommendations? Off-camera capability would be nice too. There's the Profoto connect, Godox, Nikon, etc. Ease of use is key - I don't shoot portraits and don't need multiple channels, etc. Any recommendations of specific models are appreciated!

Profoto A1X for Nikon has pretty good pricing right now with the new A10 on the market
