Hi everybody.
long time lurker but I'm evaluating some used H4D to buy in the next month or so.
a quick question: is it possible to use the new 2900Mah battery grip on a H4D-50 or -40?

jerome_m

Yes. It is supported on recent firmware.

Dustbak

It is and after it has been used for a while it lasts much longer than the original battery.

desertdiver

The same experience here. Highly recommended. But as jerome_m already pointed out, the latest firmware update is a must.

Will the BC-H 7.2 charger charge the 2900Mah batteries?

thanks for the answers.
could you give me an idea about the average number of shots achievable with the new 2900 battery, compared to the old one?

Yes, it does. But it takes 5 to 6 hours to recharge a fully depleted battery.
