Spirit level doesn't show in the viewfinder

Hi,
I finally own an H4D-50 (yay!).
I'm setting up everything and I was testing the spirit level feature.
I assigned it to the StopDown button, but when I press it, the spirit levels appear only on the digital back but not in the viewfinder.
I had a look in the manual and it simply says:
You can activate the spirit level (for both sensor unit and viewfinder displays) by holding down the View Mode button for a second, or, by re-assigning the TRUE FOCUS / AE-L / STOP DOWN or M.UP button as an activator.

funny thing is that if I press the view mode, it's the Camera Info (blue graphics) that comes up, not the spirit level.
to make it short, no matter how I turn on the spirit level, it only appear on the back and not in the VF.

Maybe you need to upgrade the viewfinder firmware.

is there a separate firmware for the VF or is it included in the body firmware?
