I tried editing the last variable as in the article:

but nothing changed.

I've switched off Karma and added likes instead, looks like a better system.

Hope this finds you well.  When I upload a shot, depending on what's in it, your eyes can close down because of the luminous screen of my monitor making the shot look sometimes different/darker/sometimes washed out.

Since I set the shots up and tweak them in PS against its default dark Grey background, I include a large dark grey background around the shots I think are affected.

Some of the shots I'll leave alone, doesn't always work the way I planned but I keep tryin.


Taking you up on your offer of suggestions, have you considered making the default backgrund the same dark grey as photoshop?  May not be preferable/likeable for you but I thought I'd ask.

Regardless of whether you like the idea let me restate this is a great Venue, a cut above most others.

Hi Thanks for the feedback, I only see grey backgrounds and I hear what you are saying.

You can in fact choose your own look for the forum, it's under *yourname*/ look and layout should be top right of your screen.
See if that works and let me know.

If possible I think it would be great if we could upload pictures directly in the forum without the need to use an external storage site. Like before.

 if its a cost thing, maybe we could do a fundraiser here on the site each time more storage is needed? You present the financial goal and the members here make it happen.

I tried to upload a picture again but failed. The only choice I can find is to insert an URL. Before I could choose to add and upload a file. But I can't seem to find that alternative anymore. Can you please help me figure out what Im doing wrong.

It might be Bec cause you are using "Quick Reply" rather than clicking on the reply button? When I do the latter I see this:
