Is it not possible to somehow configure the system to use the digital back for focus? Removing and replacing the back in the field with a focus screen seems dicey from the point of view of safety (dropping the back, dust everywhere, etc.
Thinking about buying one for the movements. I have a HTS 1.5 mounted with an X1D, HCD 28mm, but with all the adapters the thing is really bulky. Looks like the flexbody with 40mm V lens will be not so bad.

Don't forget that "flexbody" works with "normal" CF/F lenses that have not a huge image circle, so movements are limited

"Arcbody" works with Rodenstock large format lenses that gives big movement amplitude.

CFVII 50c and CFV 100 have live view and it's easy (when on tripod) to focus in live view.

If you use the CFVII 50c or CFV 100c with a technical camera or FlexBody or ArcBody, you simply use the back's Live View to focus and frame. No need to swap back and forth with focusing screen and magnifiers, etc. It works very nicely.
