X2D face detection disabled while working tethered to computter

I've been using my x2d for product photography so I usualluy work in manual focus: yesterday on a fashion shooting, I found that the face detection is disabled as you connect the camera to the mac. Is there a way to fix it? Do we need to wait for a new firmware update? Thank you

Yep, it is disabled and you will find this feature on the wishlist thread. Noone understands exactly why this is disabled during tethering. .

Also disabled when connected via wifi. It's making the customer experience of my studio sessions significantly worse. The IQ of the result though, it's outstanding as usual.
