Good morning,
I use Profoto flashes (A1, D2) on my X2D when I can carry some weight.
But, when traveling by plane, weight constraints force certain choices.
Can I use a small Leica SF40 flash on the X2D, without risk of damaging the flash or the housing (incompatible polarity or voltage, etc.)?
(I will necessarily be in manual, without TTL, but I am not a fan of TTL ;) ).
Thank you in advance for your answers.

Yes You can.

I use this flash on the X2D for the same reason

Thank you very much ! I'm happy :)
(Hasselblad answer : you have to know the voltage..................., so, they answer nothing !)
I don't sell my SF40 ;)

I'm using this one (Nikon version) and recommend it for a small flash solution. It works well with the X-series cameras.

Thank tou for your answers.
1°) I tried the SF40 manually on the X2D but no triggering and strange indications from the colored LED!
Is there a trick?
2°) Does the Nikon version of this flash work in TTL with the X2D?

I would like to know as well. I tried the Leica SF C1 on the X2D and it would not trigger my SF 60s.

Frank, can you let us know how to trigger the SF40 on the X2D?  I can't get mine to fire either.  Thanks!
