X1D II 50C discontinue?

As I see Hassel removed the sale X1D II 50C from their website, so I assume it will be discontinue soon based on no firmware updates etc. What you think guys it is high time to move to X2D?

X1D II is a wonderful camera and, as soon as it works, you can keep it and make fabulous pictures. I'll think about moving to X2D when it fails.

Even my old X1D from first Hasselblad public presentation batch works perfect 😀
It was sold to me factory revamped with warranty as the X1DII got in developpment.

Sony does not list the 50 MP sensor any longer on their webpages on CMOS sensors, neither for consumer nor industrial applications. It may well be that they stopped its production. Which would be a sad thing, imho. otoh, the camera is still listed "in stock" by several dealers.
