X2D Duplicate file names with "._" at the start

Hello,

Wondering if anyone can shed some light on the following. Whilst backing up images from my X2D SSD, I noticed there seemed to be multiple files at 4KB. Looking at the file name, they seem to be duplicates of the original images in regards to the file name, however, it has the addition of a "._" at the start.

For example:
Original file is B0000125 2.3FR
Duplicate file is ._B0000125 2.3FR

As stated it is only a 4KB file, but not sure if it is safe to delete it? Any one else notice this?

What do you mean by backing up? Personally I haven't experienced what you are describing, but then again what I do with my images is different (maybe): I import them into Phocus and I end up with .fff files instead of the OOC .3fr files. The only thing I can think of is that in the process of backing up, a thumbnail of some sort is being created, i.e. the 4kb file.
