Could you please provide a little more information on the cosmetic and functional condition of the Flexbody?

Sorry to ask details, but I do have a bit of the "collector mentality" and look for something that comes as close to new cosmetically and functionally as possible (no scratches, etc). Are the bellows without light leaks?

Are the Flexbody masks listed the same as the correction slides (small, medium, large)? Is the focus screen adapter included?

The flexbody will come in the original box (great!).

john

The cosmetic and functional condition of the Flexbody is excellent....given its age and use it looks and operates as it was designed to do when new.  It would pass all the examinations described by Jonathon Harris:

Please note, as above, have the Flexbody with me, but box and masks are at home in Vermont, and would be available around April 15 when we return.  And, yes, have added an excellent focus screen adaptor for a slight increase in price.

It is a unique and "fun" camera, especially when used with the CFV 50c (or CFV 100c).  The ability to adjust the plane of focus (using live view) creates options for special perspectives...especially with the CF 40 FLE and the CF 250 Superachromat. Both lenses are also available for purchase.

Thanks John
Is it possible to use the digital back in live view for focus, or do you need to use the focusing screen and then replace with the digital back?

john

The focusing screen is used to focus when  using film....connect the digital back directly to the Flexbody. and follow instructions to activate live view...compose and focus to achieve the desired image...leave live view..and either use the electronic shutter, or central shutter in the V lens  (much preferred)...

Thank you Darr....

Thanks for the great reference on Hasselblad! Are the masks you mention what Hasselblad calls the correction slides? If so, for $1,000 I guess I will take the flexbody with included case off your hands. Also the focusing screen would be nice for the small increase you mentioned. I am sure the 250 SA would be out of my price range.

Some close up pictures of the Flexbody would be nice if you have them. Just out of curiosity, what is your asking price for the 250 SA? I already have the 250 CFi, but I hear the SA is really superior.

Here is an image of the Hasselblad gear I am selling.

I can send more images of the Flexbody.  I sent you a PM through this forum.  I prefer we continue this conversation with emails.  Mine is:  rvfarm@sover.net
