New XCD 3,5/120mm macro shutter activation very loud

Hello,

I just received a new XCD 3,5/120mm macro from B&H.  The shutter activation is very loud and can be felt in my hand holding the lens.  This is a radically different experience from my 2,5/35mm XCD V.  Firmware is up to date on camera and lens.  Tried different battery, plugged in, shutdown and restart, removed and reseated the lens.  I fired off 30-40 shots to see if it would loosen up but no change. 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mine is loud with a distinctive click-clock sound, multiple times louder than the 45p. My guess is the V lenses likely more like the 45p volume level.

Although mine isn't new, perhaps comparable with only 159 shots on it.

All XCD lenses are very loud compared to XCD45P and XCD type v lenses

XCD lenses use the louder HC/HCD shutters.

Shutter movements can be felt but don't generate harmful vibrations because the leaves work opposite to each other.
