H4D40 interchangeable with H3D50 backs?

I own an H4D40 and I'm looking to see if an H3D50's back would work on the H4D and vice versa? Currently the price is right and it would keep me in the game shld one go down!

I used to swap over my H4D 200MS back between its native body and a H3DII body without any issues (as well as vice versa). I think it was also possible to include the H5D bodies in this interplay.
