ALAIN

Good morning,
I use a good H5D-60 with an HC120 version I for reproduction of paintings.
Everything was fine and suddenly I have overexposed photos from time to time! I have some doubts about the reliability of the diaphragm closure (F11/Flasches D2 Profoto).
I cleaned the lens/body contacts: the fault still occurs time to time.
I wonder if it would not be appropriate for me to change this HC120 which must have 80,000 clicks, against an HC120 version II.
Apart from the possibility of using it in AF on an X1D or an X2D, has there been a real improvement in optical performance between the 2 versions?
This kind of random failure is really stressful ;(
Thanks in advance,
Alain (from France)

The mkII is said to be slightly better optically. However it won't AF with X bodies.

The HC 120 is, says HB, the only H orange dot lens that cannot be Af driven on X cameras
