When I want to convert a color image to grayscale in Lightroom I individually adjust all of the color saturation sliders to 0. This gives me more flexibility with how and where I add or remove contrast by adjusting luminescence. The RGB sliders in the Grayscale section in Phocus are too blunt of an instrument and the color correction panel isn't exact enough. Does anyone have a comparable way of making grayscale edits in Phocus?

doing heavy color post on the file before converting in B&W is a strong tool to change B&W rendering.
Also modifying WB changes a lot the B&W rendering, even with some completely false WB

The most power-full tool remains the curve.

Peter Coulson is a master in B&W rendering in Phocus here how he uses it
