I know I am a new kid on the block.  OTOH there are X2D's out there besides mine and their owners are getting some good shots.  So I suggest we start and X2D thread for posting photos taken with this new camera.  I am not sure what the max size is that can be posted.  I have seen some posts in the X2D thread with 5000 pixels on the long side so I am sure that size is allowable.  I was not able to find a listed max size in a quick search around.

I am vain and addled enough to start off with a few  I have taken.  I am quite amazed with the Hasselblad tuning of the Sony sensor.  Matt Granger has some YT vids comparing the X2D to other good cameras.  The Fuji is just not in the running despite presumably having the same sensor from Sony.  Those folks in Gothenburg tuned this sensor to the teeth.  Yea!

So here are a few of mine, not too good, not too bad.

The Oregon Responder, an oil remediation ship in our harbor, fortunately always idle.

Pot bellied stove in the Oysterville Church.  I post this because of the quality of image at 25.6K ISO.  Remarkable

Just a silly photo of an old Model A pickup.  This truck has it's skeletons re-arranged and changed through the year.  This is the Halloween setup.

The Taco King.  This fellow runs a local "Roach Coach."  If you are familiar with Mexican street food (Comida de la Calle) you know it can be over the top. His is.  Two Al Pastors and two Carne Asadas and a Coca-Cola and you are good to go.  He has corazon.

We are a fishing community.  This is "up on the hard" or in dry dock.  A local fishing boat.

I pray I am not the only one with an X2D.  This is ships in the Astoria Anchorage awaiting cargoes upriver.

Soon, but not yet.

BTW, it's nice to see someone who is willing to let shadows stay dark. Just because we have access to deep shadow detail doesn't mean that we have to SHOW it in every photo. :)

Ganesha, patron of the arts and solver of problems, thank you for that.  I stand corrected.  I'll post there in the future.  I had seen in thread posting and links in the old X1D thread and thought I could get away with that.  Busted.  ;o)  Makes me think of an old school I went to whose motto, translated from Latin, came out as, "Having been castigated we will strive to do better."  Striving.

Close but not exactly.  This was a long, long time ago and my Latin was poor then despite laboring through Caesar's Gaul and Cicero's speeches in the Catiline Conspiracy.  Could I really have gotten that far beyond, "laudo, laudas, laudat, . . . ", active, passive, gerundive and supine and so on?  Wastar and all the rest.  All that work in Latin and I still cannot speak English.  LOL  Yes, I will post correctly in the future, " . . . having been warned, . . . "   ;o)

Further proof that my having the price of the camera did not bestow wisdom.

I like the image as I saw it at the moment and with a great camera what I saw and what the camera saw are close if not identical.  I know some folks like to edit what they snap.  I do not.  I like the light as it was in life as that is what attracted my eye at the moment, for better or worse.  But this is a personal decision and some folks can do magic with a photo editor.  I use the JPG output.  I should use Phocus to clean up the 3FR's and see what they look like.  I'll give it a try.  However, JPG's, even at ISO 25600, are so clean I wonder what I could do to make them better as 3FR's in Phocus.  This camera is amazing.  Ought to be for those big bucks.   ;o)
