Does anyone know why Hasselblad stoped selling the xcd 1,7x teleconverter?

As far as I know, the X teleconverter was never sold separately, but only in a bundle with the 135 lens.
But maybe someone is willing to sell it.
I would never give mine away, it just goes too well with my 135.

I confirm, this converter was never sold separately even if of both are not calibrated one with the other (Hasselblad statement as I asked them)

As far as I am aware it only works with the 135mm it was sold with. No other XCD lens can accommodate the long front element on the TC that fits inside the lens it is connected to.

It can be used mechanically  with some adapters and third part lenses, but the results are bad with strong vignetting ( I a tried it with Mamiya 645 and Zeiss V lenses).
This extender is really made specifically for the XCD135 with amazing results on  it, it's really part of the optical formula of the XCD135

I just bought a used 1.7x TC from MPB.com. They had an additional one in stock.
