Hoodman LCD Screen Loupe Experience?

The H3D-II-39 screen being of rather limited use outdoors, I thought I'd like to try the Hoodman 3" LCD Screen Loupe to improve my experience.  Anyone had any experience with this to recommend it?

As an aside, before I started this topic,  I did actually do a search for "hoodman" and received 0 hits.  Doing a search now, the only response for "hoodman" is this topic -- wonder what gives?
