I took a shot by dim light; it was underexposed four to five stops. When opened, the sensor noise was unacceptable. Then the Phocus noise filter did an amazing job. The result was a little soft in order to get the reduction I wanted, but still turned something unusable into an impressive result. (Sorry, it was a family image.)

However, the Luminance slider in the Noise Filter needs to be more fine-grained. A value of 2 was insufficient, while a value of 3 was too much blur. I wanted to see what 2½ would do. If the scale, and of course the action it performs, were simply doubled in precision, still with integer values at each setting, that should be a big improvement. (So 1 would become be 2, 2 would become 4, and 2½ would be 5.) I did not have this problem with the Color slider.
