Hello -

I was wondering if there's an iPhone app to control the X1DII.
I know there is Phocus for iPad but I'm looking for an iPhone app.

Thank you for your time.

Take a look at this one: https://apps.apple.com/bg/app/phocus-mobile/id411637574
My X1D (version 1) is a no WiFi model and I wasn't able to use the app. I am not sure if it is compatible with the Mark II. Give it a try and if it's not working, contact HB with request to update it.

The version 1 of Phocus mobile is compatible with the X1D, and yes, your X1D does have wifi. However, the version 1 of Phocus mobile is not compatible with the X1D II, and the version 2 of Phocus mobile (which is compatible with the X1D II) is not available for iPhone. Hope this helps, best regards

Hello -

Thank you Vieri for your explanations.
As you I do lots of long exposures, and sometimes (cases) it could be cool to have it.
It happens that in some cases I may not approach my camera when I "press" the shutter (eg. Moving floor, ...) so it could be very useful  ;)

Cheers

I am aware of all of this. However, my specific model is a no-WiFi model. Bought it second hand on ebay year before the Mark II was announced. I don't need WiFi, but wanted to confirm with HB's support and they did so. I suppose there are some markets where cameras are not allowed to have WiFi inside or there are some certification issues.
Here's an example: https://digistore.eu/hasselblad-x1d-50c-no-lens-no-wifi.html
