HC 210mm Auto Focus

Hello, my HC 210mm lens auto focus is very slow and often does not focus at all.
Landscape orientation appears to be better than portrait mode.
Focus peaking on the screen is not defined enough to rely on.
In manual (if there is good light for my eyes) the lens can be manually focused to perfection.

Has anyone else had this? I thought I'd ask first
