Hello -

Sometimes the new 21mm from Hasselblad isn't enough wide for my needs.

Not sure if the "Laowa® 17mm" is already on the market,
and of course it won't be natively compatible with the X1D,
but by any chance, does someone knows if it could be "compatible" via a lens adapter (eg. Novoflex®)?

Thank you...

To my knowledge, there is no GFX to X1D adapter available.  I'm not sure if it's really even physically possible to make such.

If the 21mm isn't wide enough, I'd personally look into the Canon 17mm TSE.  Of course you're limited to using electronic shutter, but it would get you wider than 21mm with even some movements.

There are also other 35mm options which can be adapted to various degrees of success, at least some require some cropping though (which kind of defeats the purpose IMHO).

Based upon a 18.14mm lens flange distance for the X1D and 26.7mm lens flange distance for the Fuji GFX there isn't much thickness (less than 8mm) available for a Fuji lens to Hasselblad X1D Body Adapter.

Hello...

Thank you Tcdeveau & Fotophil for your replies.
For now I think I'll work with the Voigtlander 15mm f4.5 VM Super Wide Heliar Aspherical III
