3FR imported to FFF in Phocus no image

Creating FFF files as usual from 3FR with import into Phocus. Working on a MAC. FFF are being created and I can see the file in Finder but there is no preview image in Finder and in Phocus the FFF files are not showing up at all. I am stumped.

Check the file sizes of the FFFs are as expected in the finder. In Phocus check that you are not filtering the images or that you have entered anything in the search box.

File size is normal. No filtering.

Try restarting the machine, also quit and restart Phocus, select a different folder and then the one you want.

When the import destination was changed to Phocus Captures rather than a folder on an external drive, new FFF files worked fine. Kind of looks like a problem to be fixed in Phocus.
