Any idea what is causing this pink mask to appear over some images...?

This purple mask is appearing over some of my preview images when I click on them and not over others.

The images were captured tethered to a Mac and transferred to a PC - my usual workflow.

This has never happened before.

If I save out the image, it saves with all adjustments and the TIFF looks fine in Photoshop.

Have I selected something in Phocus I shouldn't have?

Thanks.

Hi david
I have seen this on occasion, the saved files are always fine so it seems to be a preview/graphics card issue. Usually quitting Phocus resolves the issue.

is your phocus the newest edition? Maybe reinstall it can fix the problem.

Ok.

So, I installed 3.3.6 and now I have an even bigger problem.

I click on a 4-Shot image (which previously was generating the pink mask, as were the other 4-shots, except for one of them and NONE of the single shots) and it won't load the image at all!

On a black preview screen I get the error message; Failed to process part of the image. The error code is: 0x80C8000A.

Any ideas?

I have never had a problem with this camera.

Thanks.

Ok.

For the record.....

I turned off OpenCL in Phocus Preferences and everything works fine.

Then, I downloaded an updated driver for my Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card (although the last driver I installed was only in May) so I went from this driver 24.21.13.9793 to this 24.21.13.9836

I then ticked OpenCL in Preferences and restarted Phocus. No pink mask.

So, updating the driver seems to have solved the problem.

Not for the first time......thanks Nick! :)
