CFV-50c digital Back Broken sync jack

The female jack for the sync cable has failed on my CFV-50c digital back. At first the male sync cable plug just became a little loose in the jack and fianlly the entire jack assembly disappearedl into the CFV-50c body. The back still functions on my 503 and SWC cameras using the internal sync connection but I can no longer use the external sync for my ARC and Flexbody cameras. Have any other CFV-50c Users experienced such a problem? I suspect that the repair would be extremely expensive. Any suggestions?

Since this is a mechanical rather than an electrical problem. I'd expect it just requires disassembly and reattachment.  I would suggest contacting David Odess who specializes in the film Hasselblads and I imagine could fix this at reasonable cost.

Worth a try, anyway.
