• Switching inexhaustible from "live view" to "menu screen" and vice-versa

Hello -

Is there a trick\way to AVOID the Switching inexhaustible from "live view" to "menu screen" effect?
For example, I'm busy making my composition (manual focus) and the X1D is inexhaustible switching back to the "live view" (after a couple of seconds).
It's sooooo annoying, is there a way to avoid it?

You can turn off live view but you will still get the touch screen when you move away from the viewfinder.

The X1D, being small, has a lot of trouble with heat. When it was released, it got very hot. My guess is that the current screen behavior is necessary to limit heat buildup. I find it annoying, too, but I also don't want a hot camera.

I've never actually used the live view on the rear LCD, but I can see where this would be really annoying after awhile.
