.fff files bigger in 1.2 mac?

Hi,

I've just shot tethered on 1.2 mac for the first time and seem to be getting larger .fff than I used to. Looking back at my archive they are all around 55MB with a bit of variation. With 1.2 they are all the same size - 78MB. Is everyone seeing this?

i've seen this also.
it's specific to tethering; .fff's shot tethered are bigger than those shot untethered (for same camera + back).

presumably the changes made to get faster tethered download speed resulted in larger file sizes.
