Hello Dear Hasselblad Experts.

I am trying to dive into tethering my X1D and everything works well with an USB cable and Phocus. But is there any chance to tether via Wifi? I know there is an app for that, but I don´t want to use my iPad (btw: works also very good despite the fact, that the App has a Usability like from the early 80ies). I want to tether with Phocus from my MacBook Pro.

Any Idea? Or is this just wishful thinking?

And if I am bound to a cable, can anyone recommend an USB C to USB C cable with a length longer than 5 Meter?

Thank you very much in advance.

Michael

Phocus mobile is a great way to preview images on a phone/tablet but that's not quite what you want. You could look into something like CamRanger but I imagine it will be pretty slow sending RAW files over WiFi...

Here's the CamRanger website (only supports Nikon/Canon): http://camranger.com

Thank you Nick.

So I was right that Wifi tethering is not part of the package. Well, then I´ll use an USB cable.
Thanks again.
