short power life of battery

Dear All,

just a few days a go, I got my first used H4D-40. I am testing it now.
It is different than Canon system, which I used to work with sometime ago.
Camera is excellent, I am really happy. There is one concern only - the battery.
Before I ask seller about it, would like to hear other experienced users opinions.
My H4D-40 battery 1850mAh works ca 2hrs (untethered) and is completely empty.
To be precise, I just run through menu, check and set options according to the manual, play with it,  6 shots meanwhile and battery is dead.
My question is how long it is possible to work with new one?
I am afraid that my battery is worn out.
One important thing.. it can be charged up to 100% - it takes ca 9hrs.

I will appreciate all information and help.

Via that Get DPI link guide I updated my 7x (5 year old), grips with new cell blocks (I tested one and then did it for the others), I haven't had any problems since doing so (6 months later (used on H3DII & H4D bodies)).
The improvement has been most noticeable reducing down from 3x changes to 1-1.5x over the course of comparable shoots.
