Phocus Mobile not loading images

Hi,

I'm running Phocus Mobile in conjunction with Phocus 2.8.1 with My MacBook Pro with OS 10.9.2. When the app starts, all the files in a folder open, but none of the shots taken after that do. To see these shots, I have to close and re-open the app. I have the preference set to follow captures. I also tried it with it set to follow browsing and it still didn't work. Any clues?
