mac pro 2013

Does anybody already work with a new mac pro 2013. I was wondering if Phocus and PS will be notably faster?

I have just upgraded this morning from the 2009 MacBook Pro 13 to the latest incarnation. Bearing in mind I have yet to transfer all of my Operating Programs across to my new machine, at this stage only a little. Overall while shooting in the studio this afternoon tethered I did not notice much if any difference.

The only reason I upgraded ... when I removed the optical drive and replaced it with a SSD and a 2TB HDD, it over heated and damaged the the core. My own fault for chasing speed. My Lecturer uses the 21" iMac, which he carries everywhere in a pelican case...if you have access to a power source we spoke of using that over a laptop...however as a portable location setup the higher spec 15" is all he would use, with his two external HDD's.
