Determining Serial Number of back used to make an image

I own several identical backs from the 4040 Imacons to the CF series. Is there anyway to know which digital back was used when you look at the fff file, 3fr file or TIFF after a shoot is done? I use Flexcolor 4.0.4, 4.8.9, 4.8.13 and sometimes Phocus almost always tethered to a Mac.

What happens is that in the post production process I might notice something in an image and I'd like to know which back produced the artifact. Thanks...
