Hi Guys
I normally clean my sensors with Eclipse Sensor Swabs Type 3 with some
soapy water.
No, with Eclipse fluid.
I used to buy them from 2filter.com in bulk and ship them to Scotland
from the USA. Big saving at the time.
Now with the state of the pound , and the fact that USA prices have
went up there is no saving to be made.
Best price i can see is around £2.76 a wipe if I buy 100 at a time.
Two questions.
1. Anybody point me to a cheaper supplier?
2. Any alternatives to cleaning the sensor?
3. Anybody else think that these swabs are an absolute rip off?
thanks in advance.

Weather in Glasgow is very dim with occasional bright flashes of
light. Like me!
Actually that's the weather in my studio as I've been photographing
taps all day.
Faucets to the folk across the pond.

Co-incidentally, this was discussed on the AOP list yesterday - there must be a lot of dust in the air at the moment!

E-Wipes (as supplied with the camera) seem to be a popular choice. Best price seemed to be 25 for £25 at..

There was some concern that they dry out if you keep them for too long though...?

I saw yesterdays discussion on aop rob, but thought I'd put it out to folk who are using the backs, in the hope that there may be some other known alternatives and an idea of costs worldwide.
As far as I remember, the ewipes I got with my backs were dried out when I bought them!.
