Flexcolor Issues- Live Video orientation incorrect!??

Just upgraded to 4.8.8 hoping it would fix my issue, but it didn't.  It doesn't happen every time I boot up, but lately it happens much more than I have patience for.

When I open up Live Video, the image will be presented horizontally instead of vertically as it should.  When this first started happening, I could just change my aperture to reset it. 
Then, when that wouldn't work, I would close Live and re-open immediately to fix it. 
Then, when that wouldn't work anymore, I would unplug/replug. 
Now THAT doesn't even work! 

Has anyone else come across this?  And what did you do to fix it? 
Now I just physically rotate the back so it's presented right.  Luckily, it works that way, but I should not need to do that!
