Valeo Didgital Back Compatablity with Hasselblad 203 FE

Does anyone know if the older leaf valeo backs are compatible with the 203 FE Hasselblads...I know they are with the V series, but can't seem to find out about the 203 FE.....

Valeo backs has to be synchronised via flash output. The problem is that 203FE flash syncs at 1/90 speed only. So, generally, answer is no. But. You could work around this using special cable release (i.e. http://www.kapturegroup.com/imacon/imacon.html#4x4one_a ). I used it with Leaf Aptus 65 and my 203FE - it works. Disadvantages? The sensor is heating up longer because you have to hold release depressed to make sure shutter is completely  closed, so, theoretically more noise. Also, it isn't very convenient to shoot handheld.
