Hi, Just to ask if anyone uses the HVM waist level finder?

Is it useful? I am doing commercial and landscape work.

Thanks.

Hi jacephoto !
I'm using it and I love it, though you don't have any electronic information about exposure on the HVM (there is no electronic part) it is very pleasing to shoot with. The 3.2x magnify makes the manual focus very easy. You will have another feeling with your camera.

Ditto, It's like going back in time. And I can accurately focus again!

hi Jacephoto,

I loved to work with a waist level finder on my Fuji GX680 and also with the 500CM, therefore i bought one for the H3D. But after some photo sessions i sold my HVM, because in for my fingers the release button is not at the right position if you are using the HVM hand held.

And I´m shooting nearly 100% hand held.

If you are working on a tripod with the HVM it will work.
