[I asked these questions a while back as part of another thread and did not get a response. Will try as new thread.] I currently own an H4D 60. When I owned an H2 + P1 back and purchased a CF adapter to use with my CFE 4/40 CFE IF. I love this lens. Aside from the extra work involved in using it with the H system, is the performance as good or better than any of the H lenses. What has been the experience out there? Should I consider selling it? One other question: Is it necessary to "exercise" infrequently used V system lenses?

The CFE40 IF is certainly a good lens and will cover the full frame of the H4D60. The HC28 is a wonderful lens but does not cover full frame H4D60. The HC35 is also a very good lens that does cover full frame H4D60.
Please see the attached MTF charts but best of all try the lenses for yourself, not everything is read from a graph.
I personally think that a little exercise is a good thing.  ;)
