Focusing with the HTS1.5

Question for the guys who shoot with the HTS 1.5 :

On my Nikon, when shooting with the tilt-shft PC-E lenses, it's fairly easy to focus since there's Live View, despite the relatively small viewfinder.

On the H4D, unless you guys are shooting tethered in the field, how do you guys focus with the HTS? My image looked sharp when I focused on the far point, but it was really challenging to focus on the near point with the tilt. And with MFD, missed focusing is so easy to spot.
