curious repair tips ala McBacon

Hi mates, two days ago my mac book pro (2008) stoped booting and i gave it to a friend to have a look at it.
he tried everything and didn t find a solution so he thought that there is a probelm with the logic board maybe.

He took the logic board out and put it in the heater for 7 minutes at 200 degree C!!
Probly the right conections melted again and the macbook is now working as good as always.
true story!
