Hi,
I know it's not available yet but do we know if it will be written as a 64-bit program?
If so does that mean that as long as the OS is 64-bit it can take advantage of more than 4 gigs of ram?

Thanks,
Bob

Sorry don't have the answer to that, maybe you should offer to beta test:

Thanks Derek,
That was explained well.
Let's hope Phocus is written and compiled to address 64 bit for the PC.  I'm sure more RAM utilization can't hurt.
Does the MAC OS and Phocus have this same 4 gig barrier?

FYI
The PC version of Phocus has gone to private Beta which usually mean the public beta won't be to far behind (in my experience of Mac betas)

Hello Bob,
Phocus in Mac OS X is a true 64bits program. If you run in your Terminal:

"locate -0 app/Contents/MacOS/ | xargs -0 file | grep x86_64"     (without "")

you see all your applications that are running in 64bits, with no 4GB barrier.

saludos,
jose.
