Search extended characters in metadata field

Working with Phocus 1.0 in Mac OX 10.5.4.

I have a problem when searching extended characters (example: (á -a acute-), é -e acute-), ñ (n with ~)...).

For example: a search for the word "habitación" with the Phocus search:

- If I enter "habitaci" all the sarch is OK.
- When I enter the next letter, "ó", no image match the query... bad...

If I search with the Spotlight, all the searches are correct.

Can some user of character extended confirm this event?
