No Audio on Live Video Focusing with OSX10.6.4

There appears to be an issue with OSX10.6.4 and the audio focusing aid on both Flexcolor 4.8.10 and Phocus 2.5. (and other iterations),  basically it don't work anymore.  My advice would be don't update to OSX 10.6.4!!!
