I shot tethered today, and suddenly Phocus just quit. My Macbook pro is a bit old, 2,14 ghz and only 2gb memory, but it has worked ok before - a bit slow especially when the buffer starts to fill up. Now phocus just quit, and I can't restart it, it just quits again. I tried restarting my computer, no luck.

I shot the rest of the session on cards, but now I can't start phocus to get them imported.

Anyone experienced this, and might have a solution to this problem?

i guess phocus managed to write a corrupt .fff file which crashed it, then crashes it everytime it tries to load it's thumbnail.

two solutions:

1) move all the .fff files out of the folder you were capturing to.

or

2) trash the dk.hasselblad.phocus.plist preference file from User>Library>Preferences

relaunch Phocus.

look luck, alex.

trashing the preference file worked!

Thanks a lot for the help, Alex. Much appreciated, you saved the day!
