I used to think that Phocus was slow on Leopard, but it screams compared to SL. I just installed it on my 2.2GHz MBP with 4GB ram and now have heaps of time to do anything I need while waiting for Phocus to do just about anything. Moving a crop around is particularly frustrating - very jerky, and hard to control.

Could you give details: Mac spec, version of snow leopard etc.
I found no significant difference between performance on Leopard / Snow Leopard on my older MacBookPro.

regards, Alex.

It's an almost three year old 15" MBP, 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB memory, 500GB 7200 disk, GeForce 8600M GT with 128MB VRAM, driving an external Eizo CG222W and running 10.6.3. It was never brilliant on Phocus but now it has really ground to a halt.
Cheers,

Jeff
