I have some phocus problems

on my desktop I can not seem to export fff files properly to jpg or tiff
they end up looking like this
http://www.marcgerritsen.com/#/personal/wide%20open/13

my desktop                4 x 2.5 GHz Power PC G5    6.5 GB DDR@ sdram
my phocus                 V 2.0.1
my H3D 39 firmware    259 revision

I have an other problem on my laptop, when exporting fff files from 3fr files it crashes about 8 times to export 200 files

my laptop 3.06 GHz intel core duo   4gb 1067 MHz ddr3
my phocus  V 2.0 (i am down loading the last version to see if that helps)

this is all very frustrating as i have to finish 250 photos by the end of this weekend

any help is appreciated
cheers
marc

Hi Marc
Let me put my trouble-shooting hat on.

First off be clear that you have two almost-certainly un-related issues.

Re the first one.
Check the files at 100% in Phocus? Are they scrambled? If yes then There was a capture hardware fault I think.

If no then your computer has a problem most likely (IMO) Ram or Hard-drive related. Look to saving to another hard drive or processing on another machine.

I'm no expert here but it *could* be a PPC problem, I don't think Phocus plays nicely with PPC in fact come to think of it is Phocus not Snow Leopard only?

Take those files and try processing them on the laptop.

2nd problem hard to say, perhaps one corrupt file in there, worth processing half the 200 at a time?

HTH and I'll check on this thread in a couple of hours.

I have been doing some research and basically phocus 2 will only work on an "intel" mac
