I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for software to recover deleted fff files from a hard drive.  I've tried photorescue which has done well on 35mm formats on cards and drives in the past but it doesn't seem to see any of the fff files (even the ones that are known to be healthy on the drive)

Thanks

The sandisk software works well. They might recover as tiffs and need renaming to fff. I'll also email you a summary of a flexcolor thread on the subject

Thanks.  Per Holk also recommended it and said it may rename the as .nef and to change them from there.  Either way no problem.  It's a TB drive so it will be a long wait to see.

Ultimately the recovery was best with Data Rescue.  While none of the files I was after could be found a huge pile of others was which says the method is good but I was too late in realizing what was missing.
